About Us

A Word to the Wise

As the saying goes, be careful what you wish for. All I am saying is, think carefully about what tattoo you want and remember, tattoos are forever, not just for Christmas. Find your inspiration anywhere, not just in our desgin books but newspapers, books and magazines.

There is more to life and relationships than your loved ones’ names. If you must have someone’s name, please get the spelling right as mistakes cannot be rectified afterwards.

Smoking is not allowed in our studio. Neither is drinking or being drunk, or ‘off your face’. You would not expect that of the tattooist either, would you? If you do, you need to go elsewhere. Turn your mobile phone off too, please. The world can manage without you for the time it takes to create your tattoo. I do not want you jiggling about and chatting away when I need your complete attention.

Do not bring your children, especially if you have an appointment to have a tattoo. We don’t have a crèche, we are not registered childminders and we cannot let your children accompany you beyond the reception.

We are a cash only business. I don’t like rubber cheques and credit card companies charge way too much money for the privilege. To be tattooed you must be 18 years old or over and provide us with valid ID. To get pierced you must be over the age of 16. If you are under 18 then you will need a parent or guardian with you too, as well as photographic ID. There are no exceptions so remember if you look under-age we require photographic proof, someone else’s birth certificate just won’t do.

Depending on how busy we are you may need an appointment – keep up to date with us on Facebook to see if we have walk-in space available.  If you want to make an appointment you must pick a design or bring one in and then leave a deposit of 50% to secure our time. And if you can’t be arsed to turn up for your appointment, well, then you lose your deposit, unless you give us at least 48 hours notice. The same goes if you turn up later than half an hour after your appointment time. If you are caught in traffic, at least give us a call and we will understand!

Please eat before a tattoo/piercing. It’s not much fun if people are fainting or thowing up because they haven’t eaten. Get your blood sugar levels up by eating something and you will be ok. We know tattoos hurt and you may be scared, especially if it’s your first tattoo. Do not worry, you are in good hands.

Wear comfortable clothes, not white either, tattoo ink doesn’t wash out! Bring something to change into if you wish to preserve your dignity if your tattoo is somewhere ‘private’. We do have a screen if you want complete privacy.

Finally, we are health registered and the very conscientious about keeping things clean. Please do the same for us and remember, body odour/bad breath is not perfume.

Hi, I am looking for a good artist at the moment for a tattoo, and was wondering if you could give me an idea of price, time and any other information or suggestions on getting a tattoo of an endless knot - http://www.cfmshorewilbert.com/admin/files/product/original/213.jpg It would be about 3" in length, and positioned below ribcage, to the left. If theres any other information I've missed let me know, Thanks, Tom.

Hello Sorry for the rather late reply, you'd be looking at about £120-£160 and it would be with Cilla. Caz Original Skin
